From whatever little I read in your past posts you have the right to be angry, very angry... at the Watchtower. Don't take it on someone who gives you a voice and has given thousands a voice, even helped them find freedom from the stronghold of the Watchtower. In the big picture, Simon and many here are on your side. You are acting just like the Watchtower leaders, arrogant and derisive towards those who simply disagree or know less than you do. Calm down! Don't escalate this more than you have.

when i think of integrity, a lot of positive connotations come to mind.

i think of individuals grounded in principles, who do not operate on opinions that change based on the breeze of political or social change.

a life that is directed by a code of morality, not on capricious emotions.

Good opening piece, but as noted by Oubliette, the main premise is flawed. JW's lose their integrity in order to stay loyal.

after 36 years of this cycle: doubts-thought stopping- suppression- indoctrination-cult mode i realised enough was enough.

Call me sexist, I still may be, but I read your post and assume you were a man. Yes, 50 years of a patriarchal society's indoctrination -- and a Pew research that indicates there are still a lot more women than men inside the Org--- makes me think that the first one to wake up are usually men. But it's not so lately. That's just great! Now I can claim women are just as smart as men, without forcing myself to be politically correct. Thank you! I wish you the best in your quest to set things right.

The Witnesses Are Really Trying Hard To Get Me Back In

at my mom's bed side all i see is either jw family or friends making a concerted effort to have me return to their fold.

evidentlyy, my mom has encouraged this and i'm a trapped prisoner, as they do their best to have me come back.

it's bad enough that i have to endure my mom's dying, now i have to be bombarded with this bs..

I have not read the whole thread, but I will contribute my two cents.

In order to make an impact you have to gather thousands of people and you also have to contact all the news media, in the hopes that they will pay attention to the most troublesome things about JW's: blood, shunning, two witness rule that gives free range to pedophiles, secrecy, no higher education, false prophecies, non profit org. without any charitable work. Let us hope that, by then, people are paying attention to anything Watchtower and your DA letter carry significance outside JW circles and will reach many people outside the org.
